James 3:2-4
Christian Standard Bible
2 For we all stumble in many ways.(A) If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.(B) 3 Now if we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us,(C) we direct their whole bodies. 4 And consider ships: Though very large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs.

2 We all stumble(A) in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say(B) is perfect,(C) able to keep their whole body in check.(D)
3 When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal.(E) 4 Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go.
