James 5:15-17
New King James Version
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. (A)And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 [a]Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. (B)The effective, [b]fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man (C)with a nature like ours, and (D)he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.

15 And the prayer offered in faith(A) will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins(B) to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.(C) The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.(D)
17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are.(E) He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.(F)
