41 I will (A)rejoice over them to do them good and will [a]faithfully (B)plant them in this land with (C)all My heart and all My soul. 42 For this is what the Lord says: ‘(D)Just as I brought all this great disaster on this people, so I am going to (E)bring on them all the good that I am promising them. 43 And (F)fields will be purchased in this land of which you say, “(G)It is a desolation, without man or animal; it has been handed over to the Chaldeans.” 44 People will buy fields for money, [b](H)sign and seal [c]deeds, and call in witnesses in the (I)land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the [d]Negev; for I will (J)restore their fortunes,’ declares the Lord.”

42 “This is what the Lord says: As I have brought all this great calamity(E) on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised(F) them. 43 Once more fields will be bought(G) in this land of which you say, ‘It is a desolate(H) waste, without people or animals, for it has been given into the hands of the Babylonians.’ 44 Fields will be bought for silver, and deeds(I) will be signed, sealed and witnessed(J) in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem, in the towns of Judah and in the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev,(K) because I will restore(L) their fortunes,[a] declares the Lord.”
