Jeremiah Responds to Zedekiah’s Request for Secret Advice
14 Some time later[a] Zedekiah sent and had Jeremiah brought to him at the third entrance[b] of the Lord’s temple. The king said to Jeremiah, “I would like to ask you a question. Do not hide anything from me when you answer.”[c]

Zedekiah Questions Jeremiah Again
14 Then King Zedekiah sent(A) for Jeremiah the prophet and had him brought to the third entrance to the temple of the Lord. “I am going to ask you something,” the king said to Jeremiah. “Do not hide(B) anything from me.”
