¹¹The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”^(A)

New International Version

¹¹The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”^(A)

“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.

¹³The word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling pot, tilted away from the north.”^(A)

¹³The word of the Lord came to me again: “What do you see?”^(A)

“I see a pot that is boiling,” I answered. “It is tilting toward us from the north.”
