15 For, see, I am calling all the families of the nations of the north,” says the Lord. “And they will come. Then every one will set up his throne at the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls around it, and against all the cities of Judah. 16 And I will tell how they are to be punished for all their sin. For they have turned away from Me and have given gifts to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands. 17 Now get ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I tell you. Do not be afraid of them, or I will make trouble for you in front of them.

15 I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms,” declares the Lord.
“Their kings will come and set up their thrones
in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem;
they will come against all her surrounding walls
and against all the towns of Judah.(A)
16 I will pronounce my judgments(B) on my people
because of their wickedness(C) in forsaking me,(D)
in burning incense to other gods(E)
and in worshiping(F) what their hands have made.(G)
17 “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say(H) to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified(I) by them, or I will terrify you before them.
