⁷Then the Lord said to me:

Do not say, “I am only a youth,”^(A)
for you will go to everyone I send you to
and speak whatever I tell you.^(B)

Jeremiah 1:7

⁷But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

¹⁷“Now, get ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them^(A) or I will cause you to cower before them.

¹⁷“Get yourself ready! Stand up and say^(A) to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified^(B) by them, or I will terrify you before them.
