Jeremiah 10:1-2

10 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: ²thus saith the Lord,

Learn not the way of the heathen,
and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven;
for the heathen are dismayed at them.

10 Hear what the Lord says to you, people of Israel. ²This is what the Lord says:

“Do not learn the ways of the nations^(B)
or be terrified by signs^(C) in the heavens,
though the nations are terrified by them.
