13 For according to the number of your (A)cities were your gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to that shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal.
14 “So (B)do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble.
15 “What(C) has My beloved to do in My house,
Having (D)done lewd deeds with many?
And (E)the holy flesh has passed from you.
When you do evil, then you (F)rejoice.

13 You, Judah, have as many gods(A) as you have towns;(B) and the altars you have set up to burn incense(C) to that shameful(D) god Baal are as many as the streets of Jerusalem.’
14 “Do not pray(E) for this people or offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen(F) when they call to me in the time of their distress.
