3 And say you to them, Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this covenant, 4 which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey My voice, and do according to all which I command you. So you shall be My people, and I will be your God, 5 that I may perform the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day.
Then I answered and said, “So be it, O Lord.”

3 Tell them that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Cursed(A) is the one who does not obey the terms of this covenant— 4 the terms I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt,(B) out of the iron-smelting furnace.(C)’ I said, ‘Obey(D) me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people,(E) and I will be your God. 5 Then I will fulfill the oath I swore(F) to your ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey’(G)—the land you possess today.”
I answered, “Amen,(H) Lord.”
