⁹The Lord said to me, “A conspiracy has been discovered among the men of Judah^(A) and the residents of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 11:9

New International Version

⁹Then the Lord said to me, “There is a conspiracy^(A) among the people of Judah and those who live in Jerusalem.

⁹Like raiders who wait in ambush for someone,^(A)
a band of priests murders on the road to Shechem.^(B)
They commit atrocities.^(C)

⁹As marauders lie in ambush for a victim,^(A)
so do bands of priests;
they murder^(B) on the road to Shechem,
carrying out their wicked schemes.^(C)
