²² And if you say in your heart,
    ^(A)‘Why have these things come upon me?’
it is for the greatness of your iniquity
    that ^(B)your skirts are lifted up
    and you suffer violence.

^26 (A)I myself will lift up your skirts over your face,
    and your shame will be seen.

¹⁷ therefore the Lord ^(A)will strike with a scab
    the heads of ^(B)the daughters of Zion,
    and the Lord will lay bare their secret parts.

³ Your nakedness shall be uncovered,
    and your disgrace shall be seen.
I will take vengeance,
    and I will spare no one.
