¹⁴ Then the Lord said to me, “The ^(A)prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. ^(B)I have neither sent them nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a ^(C)false vision, divination, futility, and the deception of their own ^[a]minds.

³ This is what the Lord ^[a]God says: “Woe to the ^(A)foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have ^(B)seen nothing!

⁶ They see ^(A)deceit and lying divination, those who are saying, ‘The Lord declares,’ when the Lord has not sent them; ^(B)yet they wait for the fulfillment of their word!
