² And it shall be that when they say to you, ‘Where should we go?’ then you are to tell them, ‘This is what the Lord says:

⁹ Anyone who ^(A)stays in this city will die by the ^(B)sword, by famine, or by plague; but anyone who leaves and goes over to the Chaldeans who are besieging you will live, and he will have his own life as plunder.

^17 (A)I will send on you famine and vicious animals, and they will bereave you of children; ^(B)plague and bloodshed also will pass through you, and I will bring the sword on you. I, the Lord, have spoken.’”

¹¹ “This is what the Lord ^[a]God says: ‘Clap your hands, ^(A)stamp your foot and say, “^(B)Woe, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, which will fall by the ^(C)sword, famine, and plague! ¹² Anyone who is ^(D)far away will die by the plague, anyone who is near will fall by the sword, and anyone who remains and is spared from these will die by the famine. So I will ^(E)expend My wrath on them.
