Jeremiah 16:18-20
Legacy Standard Bible

18 I will first (A)doubly repay their iniquity and their sin because they have (B)profaned My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their (C)detestable idols and with their abominations.”

19 O Yahweh, my (D)strength and my strong defense,
And my (E)refuge in the day of distress,
To You the (F)nations will come
From the ends of the earth and say,
“Our fathers have inherited nothing but (G)lies,
Futility and [a](H)things of no profit.”
20 Can man make gods for himself?
Yet they are (I)not gods!
