21 Therefore, (A)give their children over to famine
And turn them over to the [a]power of the sword;
And let their wives become (B)childless and (C)widowed.
Let their men also be slaughtered to death,
Their (D)young men struck and killed by the sword in battle.

14 Give to them, Lord—what will You give?
Give them a (C)miscarrying womb and dried-up breasts.

15 All their evil is at (D)Gilgal;
Indeed, I came to hate them there!
Because of the (E)wickedness of their deeds
I will drive them out of My house!
I will no longer love them;
All their leaders are (F)rebels.
16 (G)Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up,
They will produce (H)no fruit.
Even though they give birth to children,
I will put to death the (I)precious ones of their womb.
