3 God ^[a]says, “^(A)If a husband divorces his wife
And she goes from him
And belongs to another man,
Will he still return to her?
Will not that land be completely ^[b]polluted?
But you ^(B)are a harlot with many ^[c]lovers;
Yet you ^(C)turn to Me,” declares the Lord.

²⁰ “Go up to Lebanon and cry out,
And lift up your voice in Bashan;
Cry out also from ^(A)Abarim,
For all your ^(B)lovers have been crushed.
²¹ “I spoke to you in your prosperity;
But ^(C)you said, ‘I will not listen!’
^(D)This has been your practice ^(E)from your youth,
That you have not obeyed My voice.
²² “The wind will sweep away all your ^(F)shepherds,
And your ^(G)lovers will go into captivity;
Then you will surely be ^(H)ashamed and humiliated
Because of all your wickedness.
