Jeremiah’s Message for Zedekiah

21 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord when ^(A)King Zedekiah sent to him ^(B)Pashhur the son of Malchijah, and ^(C)Zephaniah the priest, the son of Maaseiah, saying,

²⁵ “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Because you have sent ^(A)letters in your own name to all the people who are in Jerusalem, and to ^(B)Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, and to all the priests, saying,

^29 (A)Zephaniah the priest read this letter ^[a]to Jeremiah the prophet.
