⁵ I ^(A)Myself will war against you with an ^(B)outstretched hand and a strong arm, even in ^(C)anger and wrath and great indignation.

⁷ and I will ^(A)give My face to be against them. Though they have ^(B)come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when I set My face against them.

³ and say to the land of Israel, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “Behold, ^(A)I am against you; and I will bring out My sword from its sheath and cut off from you the ^(B)righteous and the wicked.

² Indeed, I will ^(A)gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the ^(B)houses plundered, the women ravished, and half of the city will go forth in exile, but those left of the people will not be cut off from the city.
