⁵ I ^(A)Myself will war against you with an ^(B)outstretched hand and a mighty arm, even in ^(C)anger and wrath and great indignation.

⁷ and I ^(A)set My face against them. Though they have ^(B)come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them.

³ and say to the land of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Behold, ^(A)I am against you; and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off from you the ^(B)righteous and the wicked.

² For I will ^(A)gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the ^(B)houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.
