Jeremiah 22:16-18

^16 (A)He judged the cause of the poor and needy;
    ^(B)then it was well.
Is not this ^(C)to know me?
    declares the Lord.
¹⁷ But you have eyes and heart
    only for your dishonest gain,
^(D)for shedding innocent blood,
    and for practising oppression and violence.”

^(E)“They shall not lament for him, saying,
    ^(F)‘Ah, my brother!’ or ‘Ah, sister!’
They shall not lament for him, saying,
    ^(G)‘Ah, lord!’ or ‘Ah, his majesty!’
