Jeremiah 23:33-35
New American Standard Bible 1995
33 “Now when this people or the prophet or a priest asks you saying, ‘What is the [a](A)oracle of the Lord?’ then you shall say to them, ‘What [b]oracle?’ The Lord declares, ‘I will (B)abandon you.’ 34 Then as for the prophet or the priest or the people who say, ‘The (C)oracle of the Lord,’ I will bring punishment upon that man and his household. 35 Thus will each of you say to his neighbor and to his brother, ‘(D)What has the Lord answered?’ or, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

False Prophecy
33 “When these people, or a prophet or a priest, ask you, ‘What is the message(A) from the Lord?’ say to them, ‘What message? I will forsake(B) you, declares the Lord.’ 34 If a prophet or a priest or anyone else claims, ‘This is a message(C) from the Lord,’ I will punish(D) them and their household. 35 This is what each of you keeps saying to your friends and other Israelites: ‘What is the Lord’s answer?’(E) or ‘What has the Lord spoken?’
