4 I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them.(A) They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, nor will any be missing.” This is the Lord’s declaration.
The Righteous Branch of David
5 “The days are coming”(B)—this is the Lord’s declaration—
“when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David.(C)
He will reign wisely as king
and administer justice and righteousness in the land.(D)
6 In His days Judah will be saved,
and Israel will dwell securely.(E)
This is what He will be named:
Yahweh Our Righteousness.(F)

5 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will raise up for David[a] a righteous Branch,(D)
a King(E) who will reign(F) wisely
and do what is just and right(G) in the land.
6 In his days Judah will be saved
and Israel will live in safety.(H)
This is the name(I) by which he will be called:
The Lord Our Righteous Savior.(J)
