Jeremiah 24:2-4
International Children’s Bible
2 One of the baskets had very good figs in it. They were like figs that ripen early in the season. But the other basket had rotten figs. They were too rotten to eat.
3 The Lord said to me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
I answered, “I see figs. The good figs are very good. But the rotten figs are too rotten to eat.”
4 Then the Lord spoke his word to me.

2 One basket had very good figs, like those that ripen early;(A) the other basket had very bad(B) figs, so bad they could not be eaten.
3 Then the Lord asked me, “What do you see,(C) Jeremiah?”
“Figs,” I answered. “The good ones are very good, but the bad ones are so bad they cannot be eaten.”
4 Then the word of the Lord came to me:
