¹⁵ For thus the Lord, the God of Israel, says to me, “Take this ^(A)cup of the wine of wrath from My hand and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.

⁸ And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “^[a](A)Fallen, fallen is ^(B)Babylon the great, she who has ^(C)made all the nations drink of the ^(D)wine of the ^[b]passion of her immorality.”

⁴ The woman ^(A)was clothed in purple and scarlet, and ^[a]adorned with gold and precious ^[b]stones and pearls, having in her hand ^(B)a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality,
