⁵ ‘^(A)I have made the earth, mankind, and the animals which are on the face of the earth ^(B)by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will ^(C)give it to the one who is ^[a]pleasing in My sight. ⁶ And now I ^(D)have handed all these lands over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, ^(E)My servant, and I have also given him the ^(F)animals of the field to serve him. ^7 (G)All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson ^(H)until the time of his own land comes; then ^(I)many nations and great kings will ^[b]make him their servant.

²⁵ that you be ^(A)driven away from mankind and your dwelling place be with the animals of the field, and you be given grass to eat like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven; and seven ^[a]periods of time will pass over you, until you recognize that the ^(B)Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and ^(C)bestows it on whomever He wishes.

^18 [a]O king, the ^(A)Most High God ^(B)granted ^[b]sovereignty, ^(C)greatness, honor, and majesty to Nebuchadnezzar your father. ¹⁹ Now because of the greatness which He granted him, all the peoples, nations, and populations of all ^[c]languages trembled and feared in his presence; ^(D)whomever he wished, he killed, and whomever he wished, he spared alive; and whomever he wished he elevated, and whomever he wished he humbled.
