12 The (A)word of the Lord came to Jeremiah after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, 13 “Go and speak to Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord, “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made instead of them (B)yokes of iron.” 14 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “I have put a (C)yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they will (D)serve him. And (E)I have also given him the beasts of the field.”’”

12 After the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 13 “Go and tell Hananiah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron. 14 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will put an iron yoke(A) on the necks of all these nations to make them serve(B) Nebuchadnezzar(C) king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I will even give him control over the wild animals.(D)’”
