13 “Go and speak to Hananiah, saying, ‘This is what the Lord says: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but in their place you have made (A)yokes of iron.” 14 For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “I have put a (B)yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall (C)serve him. And (D)I have also given him the animals of the field.”’”

13 “Go and tell Hananiah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron. 14 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will put an iron yoke(A) on the necks of all these nations to make them serve(B) Nebuchadnezzar(C) king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I will even give him control over the wild animals.(D)’”

14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
