9 These people are prophesying lies to you in my name. I didn’t send them, declares Yahweh.
10 This is what Yahweh says: When Babylon’s 70 years are over, I will come to you. I will keep my promise to you and bring you back to this place. 11 I know the plans that I have for you, declares Yahweh. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.

9 They are prophesying lies(A) to you in my name. I have not sent(B) them,” declares the Lord.
10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years(C) are completed for Babylon, I will come to you(D) and fulfill my good promise(E) to bring you back(F) to this place. 11 For I know the plans(G) I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper(H) you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.(I)
