²³ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I ^(A)restore their ^[a]fortunes,

⁷ I will ^(A)restore the ^[a]fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel and will ^(B)rebuild them as they were at first.

¹¹ the voice of ^(A)joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say,

and of those who bring a ^(C)thank offering into the house of the Lord. For I will restore the ^[a]fortunes of the land as they were at first,’ says the Lord.

²⁶ then I would ^(A)reject the ^[a]descendants of Jacob and David My servant, ^[b]not taking from his ^[c]descendants ^(B)rulers over the ^[d]descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But I will ^(C)restore their ^[e]fortunes and will have ^(D)mercy on them.’”
