Jeremiah 31:30-32

30 Rather, each will die for his own iniquity.(A) Anyone who eats sour grapes—his own teeth will be set on edge.
The New Covenant
31 “Look, the days are coming”(B)—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will make a new covenant(C) with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 32 This one will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt—my covenant that they broke even though I am their master”[a](D)—the Lord’s declaration.

New International Version
30 Instead, everyone will die for their own sin;(A) whoever eats sour grapes—their own teeth will be set on edge.
31 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant(B)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant(C)
I made with their ancestors(D)
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,(E)
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband(F) to[a] them,[b]”
declares the Lord.
