Good News Translation
31 (A)The Lord says, “The time is coming when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 32 It will not be like the old covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and led them out of Egypt. Although I was like a husband to them, they did not keep that covenant. 33 (B)The new covenant that I will make with the people of Israel will be this: I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

New International Version
31 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant(A)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant(B)
I made with their ancestors(C)
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,(D)
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband(E) to[a] them,[b]”
declares the Lord.
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds(F)
and write it on their hearts.(G)
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.(H)
