4 Again I will build you and you will be built, O Virgin Israel! You will again be adorned with your timbrels [small one-headed drums] and go forth in the dancing [chorus] of those who make merry.(A)
5 Again you shall plant vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant and make the fruit common and enjoy it [undisturbed].
6 For there shall be a day when the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim shall cry out, Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.

4 I will build you up again,
and you, Virgin(A) Israel, will be rebuilt.(B)
Again you will take up your timbrels(C)
and go out to dance(D) with the joyful.(E)
5 Again you will plant(F) vineyards
on the hills of Samaria;(G)
the farmers will plant them
and enjoy their fruit.(H)
6 There will be a day when watchmen(I) cry out
on the hills of Ephraim,
‘Come, let us go up to Zion,
