Take a scroll of a book, and write in it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and against Judah and against all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day. It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster which I intend to do to them, so that every man may turn from his evil way; then I will forgive their iniquity and their sin.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah. And Baruch wrote on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord which He had spoken to him.

“Take a scroll(A) and write on it all the words(B) I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah and all the other nations from the time I began speaking to you in the reign of Josiah(C) till now. Perhaps(D) when the people of Judah hear(E) about every disaster I plan to inflict on them, they will each turn(F) from their wicked ways; then I will forgive(G) their wickedness and their sin.”

So Jeremiah called Baruch(H) son of Neriah,(I) and while Jeremiah dictated(J) all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.(K)
