Jeremiah 36:22-24
World English Bible
22 Now the king was sitting in the winter house in the ninth month; and there was a fire in the brazier burning before him. 23 When Jehudi had read three or four leaves, the king cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was in the brazier, until all the scroll was consumed in the fire that was in the brazier. 24 The king and his servants who heard all these words were not afraid, and didn’t tear their garments.

New International Version
22 It was the ninth month and the king was sitting in the winter apartment,(A) with a fire burning in the firepot in front of him. 23 Whenever Jehudi had read three or four columns of the scroll,(B) the king cut them off with a scribe’s knife and threw them into the firepot, until the entire scroll was burned in the fire.(C) 24 The king and all his attendants who heard all these words showed no fear,(D) nor did they tear their clothes.(E)
