Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote [a]at the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll or book.

And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am [b]shut up, and cannot go into the House of the Lord.

Therefore go thou, and read the roll wherein thou hast written at my mouth the words of the Lord, in the audience of the people in the Lord’s house upon the [c]fasting day: also thou shalt read them in the hearing of all Judah, that come out of their cities.

So Jeremiah called Baruch(A) son of Neriah,(B) and while Jeremiah dictated(C) all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.(D) Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I am restricted; I am not allowed to go to the Lord’s temple. So you go to the house of the Lord on a day of fasting(E) and read to the people from the scroll the words of the Lord that you wrote as I dictated.(F) Read them to all the people of Judah(G) who come in from their towns.
