Then Jeremiah called Baruch, son of Neriah. Jeremiah dictated everything that Yahweh had told him, and Baruch wrote it all down on a scroll. Jeremiah told Baruch, “I’m no longer allowed to go to Yahweh’s temple. On a day of fasting, you must read from the scroll Yahweh’s message that you wrote as I dictated. You must read it to the people in Yahweh’s temple. You must also read it to all the people of Judah when they come from their cities.

So Jeremiah called Baruch(A) son of Neriah,(B) and while Jeremiah dictated(C) all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.(D) Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I am restricted; I am not allowed to go to the Lord’s temple. So you go to the house of the Lord on a day of fasting(E) and read to the people from the scroll the words of the Lord that you wrote as I dictated.(F) Read them to all the people of Judah(G) who come in from their towns.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.

And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the Lord:

Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the Lord in the ears of the people in the Lord's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
