12 He will set fire to the temples of Egypt’s gods; he will burn the temples and carry the idols away as plunder. He will pick clean the land of Egypt as a shepherd picks fleas from his cloak. And he himself will leave unharmed. 13 He will break down the sacred pillars standing in the temple of the sun[a] in Egypt, and he will burn down the temples of Egypt’s gods.’”

12 He will set fire(A) to the temples(B) of the gods(C) of Egypt; he will burn their temples and take their gods captive.(D) As a shepherd picks(E) his garment clean of lice, so he will pick Egypt clean and depart. 13 There in the temple of the sun[a](F) in Egypt he will demolish the sacred pillars(G) and will burn down the temples of the gods of Egypt.’”
