11 “Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am going to set My face against you for woe—even to cut off (destroy) all Judah [from the land]. 12 And I will take the remnant of Judah who have decided to go into the land of Egypt to live there [instead of surrendering to the Chaldeans as directed], and they will all fall and die in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword or perish by famine. From the least to the greatest, they will die by the sword or by famine; and they will become detestable, an object of horror, a curse, and a disgrace. 13 For I will punish all the inhabitants of the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, with the sword, with famine, and with virulent disease;

11 “Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty,(A) the God of Israel, says: I am determined to bring disaster(B) on you and to destroy all Judah. 12 I will take away the remnant(C) of Judah who were determined to go to Egypt to settle there. They will all perish in Egypt; they will fall by the sword or die from famine. From the least to the greatest,(D) they will die by sword or famine.(E) They will become a curse and an object of horror, a curse and an object of reproach.(F) 13 I will punish(G) those who live in Egypt with the sword,(H) famine and plague,(I) as I punished Jerusalem.
