18 But since we left off making offerings to (A)the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything (B)and have been consumed by the sword and by famine.” 19 And the women said,[a] “When we made offerings to the queen of heaven (C)and poured out drink offerings to her, was it (D)without our husbands' approval that we made cakes for her bearing her image and poured out drink offerings to her?”
20 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, (E)men and women, all the people who had given him this answer:

18 But ever since we stopped burning incense to the Queen of Heaven and pouring out drink offerings(A) to her, we have had nothing and have been perishing by sword and famine.(B)”
19 The women added, “When we burned incense(C) to the Queen of Heaven(D) and poured out drink offerings to her, did not our husbands(E) know that we were making cakes(F) impressed with her image(G) and pouring out drink offerings to her?”
20 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, both men and women, who were answering him,
