Jeremiah 44:22-24

22 The Lord could no longer bear the sight of your evil doings, the abominations that you committed; therefore your land became a desolation and a waste and a curse, without inhabitant, as it is to this day.(A) 23 It is because you burned offerings and because you sinned against the Lord and did not obey the voice of the Lord or walk in his law and in his statutes and in his decrees that this disaster has befallen you, as is still evident today.”(B)
24 Jeremiah said to all the people and all the women, “Hear the word of the Lord, all you Judeans who are in the land of Egypt,(C)

22 When the Lord could no longer endure(A) your wicked actions and the detestable things you did, your land became a curse(B) and a desolate waste(C) without inhabitants, as it is today.(D) 23 Because you have burned incense and have sinned against the Lord and have not obeyed him or followed(E) his law or his decrees(F) or his stipulations, this disaster(G) has come upon you, as you now see.”(H)
24 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including the women,(I) “Hear the word of the Lord, all you people of Judah in Egypt.(J)
