7 And now, thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel: Why are you doing such great harm to yourselves, to cut off man and woman, child and infant, from the midst of Judah, leaving yourselves without a remnant? 8 Why do you provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, making offerings to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have come to settle? Will you be cut off and become an object of cursing and ridicule among all the nations of the earth? 9 Have you forgotten the crimes of your ancestors, of the kings of Judah, of their[a] wives, your own crimes and those of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

7 “Now this is what the Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Why bring such great disaster(A) on yourselves by cutting off from Judah the men and women,(B) the children and infants, and so leave yourselves without a remnant?(C) 8 Why arouse my anger with what your hands have made,(D) burning incense(E) to other gods in Egypt,(F) where you have come to live?(G) You will destroy yourselves and make yourselves a curse[a] and an object of reproach(H) among all the nations on earth. 9 Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors(I) and by the kings(J) and queens(K) of Judah and the wickedness committed by you and your wives(L) in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?(M)

8 In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
9 Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?
