You are provoking Me with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you have come to dwell, so that you will be cut off and become a curse and a disgrace among all the nations of the earth. Have you forgotten the evils of your fathers, the evils of the kings of Judah, the evils of their wives, and your own evils and the evils of your wives, which were committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 10 They have not become contrite even to this day, nor have they feared nor walked in My Torah, My statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.”

Why arouse my anger with what your hands have made,(A) burning incense(B) to other gods in Egypt,(C) where you have come to live?(D) You will destroy yourselves and make yourselves a curse[a] and an object of reproach(E) among all the nations on earth. Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors(F) and by the kings(G) and queens(H) of Judah and the wickedness committed by you and your wives(I) in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?(J) 10 To this day they have not humbled(K) themselves or shown reverence,(L) nor have they followed my law(M) and the decrees(N) I set before you and your ancestors.(O)
