¹¹“Go^(A) up to Gilead and take balm,
^(B)O virgin, the daughter of Egypt;
In vain you will use many medicines;

¹¹Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.

⁹For her wounds are incurable.
For ^(A)it has come to Judah;
It has come to the gate of My people—
To Jerusalem.

⁹For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
