4 because of the day that is coming to destroy
all (A)the Philistines,
to cut off from (B)Tyre and Sidon
every helper that remains.
For the Lord is destroying the Philistines,
(C)the remnant of the coastland of (D)Caphtor.
5 (E)Baldness has come upon Gaza;
(F)Ashkelon has perished.
O remnant of their valley,
(G)how long will you gash yourselves?

and to remove all survivors

The Lord is about to destroy the Philistines,(C)
the remnant from the coasts of Caphtor.[a](D)
5 Gaza will shave(E) her head in mourning;
Ashkelon(F) will be silenced.
You remnant on the plain,
how long will you cut(G) yourselves?
