Jeremiah 47:5

New King James Version

⁵^(A)Baldness has come upon Gaza,
^(B)Ashkelon is cut off
With the remnant of their valley.
How long will you cut yourself?

Jeremiah 47:5

New International Version

⁵Gaza will shave^(A) her head in mourning;
Ashkelon^(B) will be silenced.
You remnant on the plain,
how long will you cut^(C) yourselves?

⁴For ^(A)Gaza shall be forsaken,
And Ashkelon desolate;
They shall drive out Ashdod ^(B)at noonday,
And Ekron shall be uprooted.

⁴Gaza^(A) will be abandoned
and Ashkelon^(B) left in ruins.
At midday Ashdod will be emptied
and Ekron uprooted.
