²⁹ We have heard of the pride of Moab—
    he is very proud—
of his loftiness, his pride, and his arrogance,
    and the haughtiness of his heart.^(A)

³⁰ I myself know his insolence, says the Lord;
    his boasts are false;
    his deeds are false.^(A)

¹⁰ This shall be their lot in return for their pride,
    because they scoffed and boasted
    against the people of the Lord of hosts.^(A)
