²⁹^(A)We have heard of the pride of Moab—
he is very proud—
of his loftiness, his pride, and his arrogance,
and the haughtiness of his heart.

²⁹“We have heard of Moab’s pride^(A)—
how great is her arrogance!—
of her insolence, her pride, her conceit
and the haughtiness^(B) of her heart.

¹⁰This shall be their lot in return ^(A)for their pride,
because they taunted and boasted
against the people of the Lord of hosts.

¹⁰This is what they will get in return for their pride,^(A)
for insulting^(B) and mocking
the people of the Lord Almighty.^(C)
