Jeremiah 48:29-31
American Standard Version
29 We have heard of the pride of Moab, that he is very proud; his loftiness, and his pride, and his arrogancy, and the haughtiness of his heart. 30 I know his wrath, saith Jehovah, that it is nought; his boastings have wrought nothing. 31 Therefore will I wail for Moab; yea, I will cry out for all Moab: for the men of Kir-heres shall they mourn.

29 “We have heard of Moab’s pride(A)—
how great is her arrogance!—
of her insolence, her pride, her conceit
and the haughtiness(B) of her heart.
30 I know her insolence but it is futile,”
declares the Lord,
“and her boasts(C) accomplish nothing.
31 Therefore I wail(D) over Moab,
for all Moab I cry out,
I moan for the people of Kir Hareseth.(E)
