30 I know his wrath, saith the Lord, [a]but it shall not be so: and his dissimulations, for they do not right.
31 [b]Therefore will I howl for Moab, and I will cry out for all Moab: mine heart shall mourn for the men of Kir Heres.
32 O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee, as I wept for Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they are come to the sea [c]of Jazer: the destroyer is fallen upon thy summer fruits, and upon thy vintage,

New International Version
30 I know her insolence but it is futile,”
declares the Lord,
“and her boasts(A) accomplish nothing.
31 Therefore I wail(B) over Moab,
for all Moab I cry out,
I moan for the people of Kir Hareseth.(C)
32 I weep for you, as Jazer(D) weeps,
you vines of Sibmah.(E)
Your branches spread as far as the sea[a];
they reached as far as[b] Jazer.
The destroyer has fallen
on your ripened fruit and grapes.
